**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Production Foreman, the **Industrial Painter** performs painting work on steel dump bodies from the epoxy paint booth in order to prepare them for the next steps of final preparation, i.e. baking, final inspection before shipping our dump bodies. In addition, he ensures that all tasks he performs are carried out in compliance with health and safety rules, laws and regulations as well as company policies.

More specifically, he/she is called upon to:

- Paint dump bodies from the paint booth
- Install the dump bodies safely on the transport cart using the appropriate lifting equipment
- Ensure a high level of quality while keeping pace with the assembly line
- Inspect surface quality before and after painting and make corrections if necessary
- Perform final visual inspection to ensure surface quality of dump bodies
- Manipulate the buckets in a safe manner with the help of hoists and the overhead crane to the oven for baking
- Clean and maintain painting equipment, paint booth and oven
- Perform basic maintenance on work tools according to recommended procedures and with rigor
- Follow health and safety rules and regulations at all times

**Profile required**:
**Requirements and Skills that we look for**:

- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred
- Previous experience as an Industrial Painter
- Experience in painting with an air gun for epoxy is an important asset
- Good physical stamina to perform manual work and maintain a sustained pace
- Resourcefulness, autonomy and initiative
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and under pressure
- Ability to work safely at all times and a good sense of humor are important
- Good knowledge of either French or English, oral and written (Bilingualism an important asset)
