Junior Cost Estimator

Are you an upbeat people-person, with a knack for multi-tasking? Are you interested in organization, coordination, and administrative success? Dr. Clean Inc. is looking for full-time Junior Cost Estimator Intern to join our growing team.
- Responsible to process quotes, log details, communicate changes and manage pertinent information to the function of estimating.
- Review quote/no quote decisions and input customer RFQ into the quote tracking system.
- Ensure accuracy and completion of RFQ packages.
- Set target dates and monitor target dates with sales team to ensure timelines are being met.
- Ensure quotes are complete including feasibility studies, capacities, sign offs, etc.
- Prepare executive summary sheets and reporting as appropriate.
- Maintain a database management system that includes pricing, engineering changes, dates of quotes, etc.
- Ensure all quotes are maintained and up to date
- Ensure customer requirements and quote standards are updated on an ongoing basis.
- Prepare variable margin and capital requirement calculations.
- Submit customer responses for piece price and tooling costs in a timely fashion.
- Prepare paperwork and attend GAP meetings where required.

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education
- Project management skills and advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.

Social Media Skills
- Managing company Facebook, LinkedIn etc.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, working knowledge of Quick Books.

**Hours**: 88 per pay period

**Rate of Pay**: $20.00 per hour

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
