Aircraft Fueller

**_Stolport Corporation_** proudly manages all Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport auto parking operations, controls access to the ferry and operates a Fixed Base Operation (FBO) including Fuel Operations for general/commercial aviation.

We are currently seeking responsible, focused, and dedicated people to join our team in the position of **Aircraft F**ueller**. This position will allow successful applicants to gain valuable knowledge and experience in the general/commercial aviation industry.

This is a permanent, full-time position.

**Job Purpose**:
A **Fueller** assists customers of the FBO and Fuel Operation and provides many services to them including aircraft fuelling. Day-to-day responsibilities include aircraft fuelling, towing, wing-walking, marshalling/parking aircrafts, tie-downs, FOD clean-up, beaching/launching floatplanes and airside escorting as necessary.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Provide FBO related instruction/guidance/assistance to pilots and passengers.
- Be familiar with all Stolport Corporation’s policies and procedures.
- Follow all airport safety and security regulations.
- Monitor fuel inventories.
- Maintain in good working order the entire fuel operation/equipment, including but not limited to; the apron, FBO, Fuel Office, Hangar, fuel trucks, spill kits, fire extinguishers, quality control testing equipment, communications equipment and all other work areas/equipment in accordance with Stolport Corporation’s policies and procedures.
- Perform ramp operations such as fuelling, towing, wing-walking, marshalling/parking aircraft, tie-downs, FOD clean-up, beaching/launching floatplanes, snow removal operations, assist with facilities maintenance and cleaning and airside escorting as required.
- Ensure supplies are well stocked and equipment is maintained.
- Always be in uniform with RAIC, company ID and AVOP displayed.
- Complete daily shift reports and submit them to the Accounting Department and management.
- Report all problems to the Operations Manager in writing.
- Assist with security of premises.

A **Fueller** can be assigned various other projects and daily tasks as required by the organization.

**Fuellers** are responsible to manage their time to effectively cover and complete all of their key responsibilities.

**Fuellers** are required to wear safety clothing when appropriate and remain in radio or telephone contact at all times.

**Qualifications/Skills include but are not limited to**:

- Possess a valid unrestricted class DZ Ontario Driver's License an asset. **Minimum G class license a requirement**.
- Previous Fueller experience an asset.
- **Must have a clean driver's abstract.**:

- Previous or current RAIC and/or AVOP permit holder an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills dealing with customers using tact and discretion.
- Ability to handle direct cash, know basic math, complete paperwork.
- Basic computer skills are essential (PC/MAC, Word, Excel etc.).
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English. Bilingual in French an asset.

**Salary**: Starting at $18.00-$20.00/hour based on experience, skills and credentials.
