**In addition, your role will be to**:

- Determine the level of effort and hours required for Canacre projects.
- Prepare estimates for all stage gates of work outlined within a scope of work and schedule.
- Prepare proposal specifications and assumptions associated with level of effort.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally on project scope, schedule, and cost analysis.
- Analyze client designs, plans, specifications, milestones, and addendums in preparation of project budgets and schedules.
- Assist in preparing and distributing requests for information to Canacre personnel, clients and subcontractors as required.
- Prepare project workplans and schedules.
- Assist the Pursuits Team to create proposals based on proposed workplans.
- Provide input to project team regarding cost and expenditure statements and forecasts at regular intervals for the duration of a project.
- Provides guidance for invoicing rules in relation to scope of work upon project award.
- Provide input to project team to effectively manage risks that might impact scope, schedule, and cost estimates.
- Set-up audit frameworks for analysis of actuals to inform future work.
- Work with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
- Provide recommendation for cost control measures and improvements.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary degree in Business, Science, Engineering or related program.
- Minimum 3-year relevant professional experience.
- Experience in providing experience in estimations for large infrastructure projects considered an asset.
- Experience in consulting is considered an asset.
- Experience with MS Project is considered an asset.
- Experience with ArcGIS is considered an asset.
- Experience with Google Earth (KML/KMZ) is considered an asset.
- Solid understanding of estimation standards and procedures.
- Proven financial acumen with knowledge of job cost fundamentals and/or accounting.
- Excellent understanding of critical path items and project workflows.
- Proven analytical and planning skills to project outcomes.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to understand and communicate both technical and business requirements.
- Self-confidence to work across all levels of an organization to gather information and report results.
- Flexible and adaptable to pivot directions quickly.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a hands-on approach to be involved with the company.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
- Proficient in CRM or ERP systems.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditations or equivalent are considered an asset.
