QA Technician

**Selig Canada - Bradford Ontario, CANADA**.

**Selig Canada, **the leading manufacturer of lining materials for tamper-evident cap/closures in North America is growing and seeking an experienced **Quality Assurance Technician.**

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, primary responsibilities for the role of Quality Assurance Technician include the following:

- Perform Incoming and In-Process Quality Control Testing and documentation for daily production.
- Know when and what tests should be performed per FTM’s (Factory Test Methods), LTM’s (Laboratory Test Methods) and PTP’s (Plant Test Procedures) on all machines
- Operate and be familiar with calibration process for all test equipment involved with QA Department
- Process orders correctly for good traceability and correct information on Certificates of Analysis
- Recognize Non-Conformance material and follow procedure per ISO 9001:2015
- Know NCR Procedure on how to quarantine or reject material per ISO 9001:2015
- QA audits of processes on every shift

**Knowledge/Experience**:

- Previous experience in production/manufacturing environment is an asset, particularly in flexible packaging

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent
- College Education and Quality Control / Assurance experience an asset
- Strong analytical skills to assist with internal & customer issues
- Must have strong math, Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Excellent communications skills essential for dealing with suppliers, customers and company personnel
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts

**Salary**: $49,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
