Dental Sterilization Technician/floater

Rockwood Oral surgery is looking for a **Dental Sterilization Technician/Floater** to join our expanding team on **a Full-time basis**

**What we look for**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in dental sterilization is an asset.
- Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of sterilization equipment and infection control protocols.
- Strong written and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Very punctual and reliable
**Responsibility**:
- Clean and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
- Prepare instruments and supplies for storage and distribution by checking, assembling, packaging, wrapping and sterilizing according to established policies.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with infection control standards and procedures.
- Assist with inventory management for sterilization supplies.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a safe and efficient workflow.
- Disposal of garbage as needed
- Facilitate patient flow by cleaning and resetting surgical rooms
- Escort patients into consultation and surgery rooms, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
