We are looking for a **Head Pharmacy Technician**.

A Head Pharmacy Technician at Mednow will work closely with our pharmacist to ensure the health and safety of their patients while delivering exceptional customer service.
**We can rely on you to**:

- Locate, dispense, pack, and label prescribed medications for our patients, ensuring all orders are correct
- Maintain database records for patients
- Support the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including inventory management (ordering, expired drugs, returns, etc.), implementation of appropriate pricing and billing in accordance with RAMQ and private payer billing requirements, etc.
- Manage the technical aspects of servicing patients on blister packs and PillSmart:

- Manage supply ordering and stocking
- Contribute to the hiring of laboratory technicians and supervise the integration and training of employees, in collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager
- Perform patient deliveries from time to time as required
- Assist with other pharmacy related tasks, as needed

**Your must haves**:

- 1 years + in a head technician role or experience in the healthcare industry (Medical secretary, nurse, nurse assistant, etc.)
- Experience in managing a pharmacy, medical clinic or health care center.

Your Nice to Haves: *
- Experience in Virtual, postal pharmacy or specialty pharmacy
- Knowledge of Kroll pharmacy software
- Prior experience with automation equipment (PACMED and PACVISION)
- Communicate orally and in writing in French and English
