The Financial Reporting Analyst will play an integral part in preparation and analysis of financial results. The role will focus on preparation of journal entries, bank reconciliations, and workbooks, and will be responsible for creating internal and external financial statements and reports, while ensuring that all documentation and transactions are in compliance with IFRS.

**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
- Prepare monthly journal entries and perform bank and GL account reconciliations
- Perform verification and reconciliation of accounts, while verifying bank deposits and payments, and ensuring that a timely follow-up action is taken according to corporate standards
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external financial statements, while ensuring the highest quality, reliability, and accuracy
- Compile and analyze financial information for business units and perform variance analysis
- Provide support, coordination, address and respond to queries from auditors and internal reviewers, while taking ownership of issues and ensuring a successful resolution
- Prepare year-end working papers and schedules for annual Financial Audit
- Assist in the preparation of sales tax filings
- Identify opportunities to automate, streamline and further develop reporting processes
- Other duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned

**WHAT WILL YOU NEED?**
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting with strong understanding of accounting principles
- 3-5 years of practical experience with full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
- YARDI experience is considered an asset
- Advance Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work with large volume of daily transactions and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
