Security Guard

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations to prevent unauthorized access and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and provide detailed reports on incidents.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential security risks and implementing preventative measures.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in surveillance or law enforcement is preferred.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technology is an asset.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- A valid security guard license or certification may be required based on local regulations.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond quickly to incidents.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
