**About Litus**:
**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Chemist or Chemical Engineer who is either a recent graduate or in their final year of studies (BSc or MSc), with a decent background in laboratory experiments, water analysis and characterization of solid sorbents, catalysts, and related materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize laboratory methods and experimental designs for testing andcharacterizing solid sorbents used in lithium extraction.
- Conduct detailed laboratory experiments to test and improve the performance of thesematerials.
- Characterize the physical and chemical properties of materials using advanced analyticaltechniques such as XRD, ICP, SEM, and BET surface area analysis.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, ensuring accurate data collection anddocumentation.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to the R&D team andstakeholders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design experiments and develop newmethodologies.
- Maintain lab safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in a laboratory setting (including researchinternships).
- Experience material characterization techniques and familiarity with analytical tools.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis software.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design experiments and develop new
- methodologies.
- Maintain lab safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
**Qualifications**:
