We are currently recruiting for a **Help Desk Co-op Student** **to work in its Global Headquarters located in Acton, ON, Canada.
**Job/Position Summary**:
Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, the Help Desk Co-op Student will work as part of the IT Infrastructure Support team performing first level phone and desktop support. This individual will also assist in configuring and deploying PC’s and software. This role will provide excellent exposure to allow one to develop the skills necessary for working in office & warehouse environments.
The incumbent will be analytical, resourceful, innovative, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:
- Providing customer service to all Superior Glove users both local and remote (e.g., Newfoundland, Honduras, etc.)
- Updating tickets with technical notes on what work was performed in Jira ticketing system
- Assist with asset inventory management (e.g., redeploying / recycling equipment)
- Help configure, and deploy new computers as needed
- Assist with user or department moves
- Create SOPs and diagrams for the team and user reference
- Support with projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications & Requirements**:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in computer science / information technology or related field
- Good communication skills - verbal / written
- Experience working with MS office (Excel, Word, Office, and Powerpoint)
- Ability to work in office/warehouse environment
- Ability to problem solve technical issues with some guidance
- Decision-making in prioritization of tickets and assignment
- Able to work with end users in a clear and professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and gather information, materials, and authorizations necessary to complete the task
- Follow and adhere to company’s policies and procedures
