What is the opportunity?
We’re looking for a temporary full-time Infrastructure Maintenance Labourer to join our Infrastructure Maintenance team. In this role, you’ll support our operators and lead with the day-to-day upkeep of City infrastructure — work that directly impacts the safety and quality of life in Leduc. This role reports to the Lead, Infrastructure Maintenance, and works closely with Operators to help keep our roads and equipment in top shape.
What will you do?- Support Infrastructure Maintenance staff in a variety of maintenance tasks- Clean and maintain road maintenance equipment, vehicles, and bays- Operate City-owned vehicles (up to one-ton trucks)- Place and collect signage related to snow removal and street sweeping- Identify field hazards and report issues appropriately- Follow all City policies and safety procedures
Who you are?- You are at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work- You have a High School Diploma- You’re familiar with WHMIS and OH&S standards- You hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license with 6 or fewer demerit points- You have a strong work ethic and are comfortable working outdoors in a physically demanding role- First Aid certification is considered an asset- You bring a positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed
