Concrete Finisher/laborer and Framer

Harry Lange Concrete Ltd. is expanding its dedicated crew We are a reputable company seeking motivated and skilled individuals for the following full-time positions:

- **Concrete Finishers**:

- **Concrete Framers**:

- **Concrete Labourers**

**Job Duties**:
**Concrete Finisher**:

- Inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials.
- Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
- Smooth and level freshly poured concrete by filling hollows and removing high spots.
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
- Level top surfaces of concrete to specified grade and depth using straightedge or float.

**Concrete Framer**:

- Read and interpret blueprints and plans to understand project requirements.
- Build, erect, and set forms for various concrete structures (e.g., foundations, walls, slabs).
- Ensure forms are accurately aligned, properly braced, and secured before concrete placement.
- Strip forms from cured concrete, taking care to maintain concrete integrity and form condition.
- Assist with site layout and grade checking for formwork.

**Concrete Labourer**:

- Install and tie rebar.
- Perform accurate grading for dirt and concrete.
- Load, unload, haul, and hoist materials and equipment.
- Maintain, clean, and organize form materials and tools in the shop, truck, and on job sites.
- Operate power sprayers or washers.
- Report any unsafe work practices or safety hazards to the Foreman.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Foreman.

**Qualifications for All Roles**:

- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Reliable means of transportation to reach various job sites.
- Ability to reliably commute to Winnipeg, MB, or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
- Must be able to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull materials and tools up to 50 lbs.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Commitment to safety standards.

**Preferred Experience & Assets**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in the concrete industry (preferred for all roles).
- Experience in concrete flatwork and site preparation is considered an asset.
- For Concrete Framer: Specific experience in concrete forming or carpentry is a strong asset.

**Work Environment & Schedule**:

- **Location**: Most jobs are located in Winnipeg, MB, with some projects in rural Manitoba.
- **Schedule**: Monday to Friday.
- **Work Type**: In-person, on-site.

**Compensation**:

- Expected hourly wage: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and specific role.
