**Alexandria Moulding**, a division of US Lumber, is a customer focused manufacturer and distributor of quality mouldings and related millwork products for both Canadian and U.S. residential housing markets. **Position Summary**

The **Shunter** ideally must have comprehensive knowledge in receiving, shipping, shunting and order picking and work under mínimal supervision. The purpose of this position is to accurately transfer product, both physically and logically, into and/or out of warehouse locations, load/unload trailers, move product throughout the facility with powered industrial equipment and perform inventory counts as required.

**Duties/Responsibilities**
- Shunt trucks in and out of the distribution center and around the property
- Responsible for load securement, including strapping the load
- Demonstrate good judgment when checking trailers and maintaining the shunt truck
- Reporting unstable or damaged loads or equipment to supervisor
- Ability to use scanners and cameras
- Handling work in a warehouse around heavy equipment
- Must be able to lift 25 to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to operate and control equipment
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Safely moving and parking trailers
- Pick customer orders accurately as per requirements
- Must certify for material handling equipment (lift truck, tugger, etc.)
- Perform other tasks as assigned such as replenishing, rework to name a few.

**Education/Experience**
- High school diploma **or **equivalent work experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work both indoors and outside
- Must be detailed oriented
- Basic computer skills
- All necessary training will be provided on the job
- **Must have a valid driver’s license**.

**Shift Work**:Evening 3:30pm - 11:30pm (Monday-Friday)
