**About the Job**:
We are seeking energetic, hardworking and highly motivated individuals with a can-do attitude for our Recycling Process Worker position. They will be responsible for all aspects of the recycling line from lifting and loading to sorting and processing. Work is performed on a daily basis in a noisy environment in a semi-enclosed building.

The physical work itself is not complicated but it requires being on your feet, regular lifting and being able to work in a fast-paced work environment. The job includes paperwork and reporting that must be completed daily, therefore, good organizational and problem solving skills are an asset.

**Duties Include**:

- Working in a team environment with rotating duties
- Forklift operating and material handling unloading delivery trucks
- Loading outbound shipments of baled and separated materials
- Properly sorting components for recycling on a picking line
- Keeping the work area/warehouse clean and safe
- Follow specific opening and closing shift routines and equipment maintenance requirements
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Following all safety & operating procedures & policies including wearing a mask (which we provide)
- Being able to work at a steady pace
- Baling reclaimed materials using an automatic bale press
- Operating recycling machinery
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position (physical exertions, including standing, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, some heavy lifting)
- Experience in driving a forklift - forklift certification is required within a timeframe of being hired
- Must be able to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (i.e. Respirator, Safety goggles, Steel Toed/Slip Proof Boots, Hardhat, Earplugs)
- Occupational First Aid Level 1 an asset
- Core values of Reliability, Punctuality, Honesty, Responsible and a Team Player are a must
- Mechanically inclined is an asset
- Problem solver, organized and prepared to complete daily work requirements
- Smoking is permitted in designated area only

**Compensation**:

- $20.66 - $24.00 per hour starting wage depending on skill level and experience.
