Ethier Sand and Gravel is seeking loyal hard-working employees to join our dynamic team. Located in Sudbury, Ontario, the snow removal operator will be responsible for operating small snow equipment, half-ton w/ plow, maintaining doorways and walkways, and sanding and salting roads and sidewalks.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Perform mandatory pre and post-vehicle or heavy equipment inspections.
- Ability to take direction and communicate verbally, working as a team player.
- Display professionalism toward our company and customers.
- Must maintain a clean and tidy work environment and equipment, both interior and exterior.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures: safety standards operations, maintenance, training, cleanliness standards, etc.
- Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

**Education**
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating small equipment is an asset

**Knowledge Skills & Abilities**
- Must have a working cell phone 24/7
- Must have reliable transportation to be able to get to the yard
- Must maintain excellent punctuality and attendance record
- Be receptive to direction and feedback
- Be receptive to following our techniques
- Be professional and courteous with colleagues
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of outdoor work in cold weather conditions
- Good physical condition with the capability of repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in inclement weather.
- Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snow removal needs
- Safely navigate and maneuver the snow plow vehicle in tight spaces and on slippery surfaces
- Ensure proper maintenance and functioning of snow plow equipment
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
