Rmt/1st or 2nd Yr Student

**Overview**
We are seeking a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) or a 1st / 2nd Year Student to join my home based practice. New grads welcome to apply. This position offers an excellent opportunity for students to gain practical experience in a professional setting, or even an experienced RMT to grow their practice.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be able to perform a variety of massage assessment and treatment techniques within the scope of your modality.
- As a student, you must perform massage therapy treatments under the supervision of an experienced RMT
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate treatments and follow up/home care plans
- Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes
- Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized treatment room
- Adhere to a contract as a subcontractor. You will require a GST # as this is a commission paid position. Details to be discussed upon interview.
- Charting within an online platform (Jane)
- Must provide criminal record & vulnerable sector check. Proof of member in good standing with your chosen association. Up to date first aid and CPR.

**Experience**:

- Must have 2200Hr Massage Diploma OR Currently enrolled in a Massage Therapy program
- Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset
- Strong communication skills and confidentiality is a must
- Customer service experience is beneficial

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

Pay: $36.00-$81.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
