We are looking for a Manager, Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) to help grow our business and contribute to our future.
The Manager, EPMO will establish and oversee the Enterprise Strategy Program Portfolio to ensure that programs and projects are selected, prioritized, delivered and resourced with direct alignment to ISC’s long-term corporate strategic objectives to maximize the value realization of our investment in programs and projects. The EPMO monitors portfolio health by implementing and tracking performance metrics that offer accountability for project success. Reporting to Executive Vice President, Technology, other highlights include:
Enterprise Program Management:
- Strategic Alignment: Ensuring that projects and initiatives are aligned with the overall strategic goals and objectives of the organization.
- Portfolio Management: Managing the portfolio of projects and programs to optimize resource allocation, prioritize initiatives, and maximize business value.
- Governance: Establishing project governance frameworks, processes, and policies to ensure compliance, risk management, and project success.
- Methodology Development: Developing and promoting best practices, methodologies, and standards for project management across the organization.
- Resource Management: Managing resources such as people, finances, and equipment to support project delivery and achieve organizational goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitoring and evaluating project performance metrics to track progress, identify issues, and make data-driven decisions.
- Stakeholder Management: Engaging with stakeholders at various levels to gather requirements, communicate progress, and manage expectations.
- Training and Development: Providing training, coaching, and support to project teams and stakeholders to enhance project management capabilities and knowledge.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement, implementing process enhancements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the project management function.
- Reporting and Communication: Generating reports, dashboards, and communication materials to provide visibility into project status, performance, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
- Benefits Realization: Develop, implement and oversee the value and benefits realization process including conducting cost-benefit analyses, risk analyses, and financial calculations to determine project feasibility.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of Project Managers, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, managing performance and work assignments.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor of Business Administration / Commerce degree and 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a project management environment (an equivalent level of related work experience may be considered).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
- Expert knowledge of project management methodology, tools and techniques.
- Expert knowledge of financial systems and corporate budgeting processes.
- Knowledge of organizational structure in order to manage cross-departmental and cross-disciplinary resource allocation.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and problem-solving techniques as well as change management principles.
- Proven understanding of general corporate roles and linkages between business development, product strategy, marketing, IT, finance and administration, human resources and customer services.
- Superb facilitation skills and ability to build consensus among stakeholders.
