Dufresne Furniture and Appliances is currently seeking a **Warehouse Transportation Handler** for our** Prince Albert **store located at** 331 Marquis Rd.**

As a Warehouse Transportation Handler, you will work as part of a team to provide exceptional delivery service to our guests. You will also provide support for visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pick-ups, and movement of goods and merchandise.

As the Warehouse Transportation Handler, you will:

- Load and deliver product to the guest’s home following Company’s policies and procedures and assemble product when required.
- Receive product, product returns, accessories, supplies, and prepare product for delivery, outbound shipments or floor placement.
- Conduct “pre and post” trip audits as required to meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Safely and efficiently drive the scheduled route while keeping scheduling and providing exceptional customer service.
- Conduct all activities safely and courteously with every effort to minimize damage to the product and the guest’s homes.
- Ensure accurate completion of delivery work by using delivery tablets and taking required photos.
- Complete all required Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and comply and present all HOS logs electronically when checked at a scale or stopped by the authorities.
- Understand and follow all safe work practices and rules.
- Notify and reconcile any discrepancies and the completion of each delivery with the DCD (Delivery Completion Data) personnel.
- Abide by all Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations concerning commercial truck drivers.
- Communicate any issues (mechanical or otherwise) regarding the delivery truck.
- Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation for warehouse and sales floor.
- General store internal maintenance (i.e., light bulbs, putty of walls, general handy-person duties, garbage), and maintenance and housekeeping of exterior (i.e., grass cutting, shoveling, cleanliness).
- Keep warehouse area and sales floor organized and clean.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent skills and experience.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with clean Driver Abstract (with air considered a plus).
- 6 months to 1 year of Delivery Driver experience preferred.
- Experience with hand tools is an asset.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Physically fit, able to lift and move objects up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service.
- Ability to work during retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
- Willingness to travel within a 2.5 hour radius of store location, with possibility of overnight travel.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
- Safety footwear required.
- Clear Criminal Record Check required.
