Job Description:
We have a new opportunity for a client in Mississauga that may need on-going support. They are looking DSWs (Developmental Service Workers) on 1-month full-time contracts. Shifts can begin as early as 8:00 AM and finish as late as 7:30 PM, so flexibility and availability during those hours is important. Also adding some part time hours in the summer. The position will involve working with residents with Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities.

Qualifications:

- U.M.A.B certified - may have In-house training certificates
- CPR, CPI, or BS trained — these are not required but are definitely considered strong assets and they have also completed current Vulnerable sectors check in the last 6 months
- Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, specifically young adults who exhibit high aggression when dysregulated
- Reliable transportation to and from work is a must, along with a valid G driver’s license

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift

- Weekends as needed
