MAXX North America Services Ltd., a leading provider of energy transportation services across Western Canada, is looking to hire a Project Manager to work in our Pipeline Integrity division. This opportunity represents a compelling career challenge for someone looking to get in on the ground floor with an up-and-coming company that has a strong leadership team based in Edmonton. The role is based in Edmonton, Alberta with travel to Maxx’s project sites across Western Canada. **Duties and Responsibilities**: - Review tender documents, estimates and preparation of proposals. - Define project scopes, objectives, risks, assumptions, staffing levels, roles and responsibilities, milestones, and deliverables. - Act as primary liaison with site supervisors and subcontractors. - Understand complete site access requirements (PPE, Safety Training, D&A testing, etc.). - Conduct cost/benefit analysis and margin estimations to determine project success parameters. - Manage client/contractor site meetings, RFI’s, change orders, invoices and document control processes. - Identify, communicate, monitor and maintain project HSE expectations and deliverables. **Skills and Experience**: - 5 - 10 years of experience in a project management role - Professional Engineer + PMP designation or similar certification is preferred - Knowledge and experience with pipeline integrity related work including but not limited to: - Integrity digs - Pipeline Construction - Pipeline repairs - Reclamation - Cathodic Protection - Welding - Pipeline coatings - Proven experience managing projects in the $.2M to $5M range - Estimating - Cost control - Quality control - Experience in reading and interpreting contract requirements - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude is a MUST Maxx North America Services is fast-growing, privately held, owner-operated Canadian corporation offering competitive wages and benefits, a friendly team atmosphere, and a family-based company culture.
