The person assigned to this position will be required to follow a detailed process route sheet to assemble the components to meet the customer’s specifications. Knowledge and skills to build harnesses up to 500 points of contact following an Excel spreadsheet. Ability to troubleshoot and repair assemblies.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years experience in assembling of wiring harnesses, cable and mechanical assemblies
- Knowledge of prints, schematics, mechanical drawings, visual aids, wire identification, color codes and associated component identification required
- Experience with using all types of hand tools: MTA, Modular connectors, ferrule crimps, open and closed barrel hand tools
- Soldering
- Computer skills required
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 training and certification strongly preferred but not required

**Job Summary / Responsibilities**:

- Review design requirement documentation for new wire harness products & prepare work instructions, fixtures, tooling, assembly aids, inspection criteria & product data files
- Prepare customer quote information as requested by the sales team.
- Assist with the setup of production machinery for new product launches.
- Provide support to manufacturing by trouble shooting product and machinery issues
- Support manufacturing processes and machinery technically and / or ?hands on? as necessary
- Assist with the training process of manufacturing associates on new products.
- Investigate new technologies and processes that can be used to create competitive products
- Research manufacturing processes and methods to improve efficiency
- Be capable of working on various projects with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work beyond normal shift hours as needed
- Other duties may be assigned by management

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
