Thornhill, Canada MR Automotive Full time

MR Automotive is a family owned and operated automotive shop looking for a Tire/Lube Technician with possibility of Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship. This is a full time Monday to Friday position with potential Saturdays in high season. Benefits available.

Applicant must possess:

- Valid G Class Driver's License
- Minimum 1 year experience as a tire/lube technician and/or basic vehicle knowledge
- Tools and equipment to perform basic tasks (preferred, not required)
- Basic computer/tablet knowledge (required)

Job responsibilities include:

- Oil changes with multi-point inspection (fluids, brakes, suspension, etc.)
- Making recommendations for additional servicing based on initial vehicle inspections and maintenance schedules
- Performs filter changes (air, cabin air, fuel)
- Tire inspections, mounting & balancing, rotation, repairs

**Experience**:

- Minimum 1 year experience as a tire/lube technician and/or basic vehicle knowledge

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
