Job Summary

Responsible for the management of the housekeeping department in the absence of the Executive or Assistant Executive Housekeeper

**Duties Include**:

- Responsible to ensure the presentation of the hotel in all areas and at all times is at a standard of excellence
- Responsible for obtaining rooms sold from the front desk and calling in or canceling on call staff as required
- Responsible for scheduling room assignments and setting priorities
- Responsible for assisting in laundry, picking up linens from room attendants as required
- Responsible for delivering supplies to room attendants as required
- Responsible for room inspection and cleaning performance
- Responsible to assign urgent or immediate work orders to the maintenance department in the absence of the General or Assistant Manager
- Responsible for recording on the Supervisor’s Report any and all activity which affects the smooth and successful operation of the hotel
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a co-operative and pleasant work environment
- Responsible for reporting conflict in the work place on her shifts
- Responsible to ensure all common areas, washrooms, meetings rooms are clean and in excellent presentation at all times
- Responsible for completing all records as required
- Responsible to complete all other duties as assigned by the Executive or Assistant Housekeeper

Pay: $16.77-$17.33 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
