**Overview**

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic volunteer to photograph a few of our current programs and future events. As a Volunteer Photographer for YWCA Muskoka, you will play a crucial role in visually documenting our programs, events, and activities. Your photographs will help us capture memorable moments, showcase our initiatives, and promote our mission to the community.

**Time Commitment**

This is a flexible volunteer position that is ongoing or short-term, depending on your availability.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Attend a few scheduled programs, events, and activities to capture high-quality photographs of candid moments, interactions, and highlights
- Use your artistic vision to capture unique perspectives, details, and artistic shots that reflect the spirit and energy of our programs.
- Collaborate with program coordinators, volunteers, and staff members to understand the key moments and priorities for photography coverage.
- Respect the privacy and preferences of participants by obtaining consent when necessary.
- Perform basic editing tasks such as cropping, color correction, and minor retouching to enhance the quality of photographs.
- Share photographs with our Office Administrator for use in promotional materials, social media platforms, and website updates.

**Qualification/Requirements**
- Must have your own camera and SD card for image storage (Option for YWCA to arrange for equipment)
- Proficiency in basic photography techniques and equipment
- Willingness to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
- Please note that this is an unpaid volunteer position_
