Laebon Homes has an opportunity to join its Construction team as a **Labourer/ Apprentice Carpenter.**

**Job Summary**:
As a Labourer/ Apprentice Carpenter, you will be working with our team throughout Central Alberta on the construction of single-family and multi-family homes.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
Includes, but not limited to the following:

- General carpentry tasks such as back framing
- General construction duties
- Turn over prep for possessions
- Quality control from start to finish
- Help with trade partner inquiries throughout the build
- Site cleanup as required
- Follow all company safety protocols
- Complete safety inspections

**Job Qualifications**:

- 1st or 2nd year apprentice in carpentry would be an asset
- Residential or commercial construction experience would be an asset
- Strong work ethic with a positive “can do” attitude
- Knowledge of residential construction and the ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Work independently and as part of a team on day-to-day tasks and projects.
- Detail oriented and goal driven.
- Willingness/ability to do physically demanding work
- Must have a valid drivers license and own transportation
- Will need basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, drill, saws etc.)
