Laserglow Technologies is a successful and fast growing optoelectronics company headquartered in North York, Ontario, Canada, specializing in the sale of lasers and industrial safety equipment.

To keep up with demand, we are looking for a **Warehouse Associate** to join our growing team in a fun yet busy and challenging work environment. We have a number of employee events throughout the year as well as daily snacks.

**Position Summary**

Under the supervision of the Manager, you will:

- Assisting with shipping and/or receiving, returns, carrier relations, order pick-pack and ship, product management
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing slips/invoices or other documents when required
- Count items received and checks against packing lists, recording any discrepancies
- Assist in unloading non-courier (truck) deliveries
- Pulls stored materials for orders and moves to receiving area
- Assure prompt, accurate and systematic handling of finished goods orders while providing outstanding customer service
- General warehouse duties including assistance in stocking shelves, retrieving parts, warehouse disposal duties (breaking down carton, etc.), maintaining tidy work areas, and other warehouse duties as called upon.
- Participate in year-end inventory

**Working Conditions**:

- Indoors comfortable area, air-conditioned, well heated and lighted
- Shipping and receiving materials not considered dangerous
- Light to moderate lifting may be required

**Winning Profile**
- 1-2 years of experience as a Warehouse Assistant/Shipper-Receiver
- Comfortable with using computer and Internet
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
- Accurate, Dependable, Reliable, Organized, Interpersonal
- Take social responsibility seriously and enjoys helping others
- During busy periods, employees may be required to work extended hours

This is a full-time position. We will train as necessary, as we prefer to hire someone with the right attitude and energy.

We offer a highly competitive compensation package which includes a base salary, profit sharing, paid vacation and sick time and health benefits which begin from day 1 of employment.
