**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Quality Checking: Complete final inspection of all work done to plate to ensure it meets established quality standards, customer specifications, and defect/alerts. Includes: confirming appropriate colours, embossing, sheeting, integrity of paint and material, correct alpha-numeric sequence, etc. Good understanding of all customer packaging instructions.
- Machine Operation: Ensure safe, efficient operation of shrink wrap equipment in completion of work orders in priority. Monitor indicator lights, all process variates and functioning of plate feeder, heat sealer, and shrink wrap oven. Respond effectively to all malfunctions, misfeeds, and jams. Completion of basic maintenance / upkeep of equipment (shrink wrap).
- Order Processing: Obtain required set of shipping labels, matching Box Packing Details Sheet, and other materials. Check Work Instructions for details of customer’s packing requirements. In cases of automatic bar coding, ensure all code labels match the specific plate. Package plates into shipping boxes per customer specifications, using either wax paper, envelopes, or bags.
- Safety: Fulfill duties in a safe, responsible manner in keeping with plant safety guidelines, safe work practices, and applicable regulations. Wear required PPE and ensure it is appropriate to job at hand. Keep work surfaces and floor area tidy and free of hazards.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate paperwork for orders as they progress of order through Checking using Box Summary Sheet. Complete remake request sheets, box details, scrap reporting. Recording deviations arising from quality issues.
- Complete remakes and detailing of pallet in event of quality issues found during final inspection.
- Ability to effectively react to change and undertake other tasks as assigned.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $15.20 per hour
