**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Support the team in food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety regulations.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and adapt to changing menus or procedures.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $17.20 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
