**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Supervise and provide coaching to a team of Collection Clerks, ensuring they meet performance goals and objectives.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, set goals and maintain employee motivation.
- Handle complex accounts and ensure timely resolution of escalated issues, while maintaining positive relationships with customers.
- Ensure all account notes and communications are accurately documented.
- Review and analyze various reports generated through the collections system, ensuring that customers are assigned, reviewed and contacted in a timely manner.
- Evaluate the status of delinquent accounts and create appropriate action plans.
- Collaborate with internal staff to address at-risk accounts.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma.
- Previous experience in a Senior Collections role handling complex accounts and resolving disputes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to supervise a team and interact with customers.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback to employees and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport and foster positive customer relationships.
- Capacity to understand customer needs, address concerns and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
- Excellent time management and organization skills to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- The ability to work well in a team-based environment through effective collaboration, sharing of ideas, and contributing to a positive team culture.
- Proficiency in accounting software and collection management tools.
- Willingness to travel for job-related purposes, as needed.

***Additional consideration will be given to those having any of the following**:

- Diploma, degree, or enrollment in post-secondary education in either Accounting or Business.
- Leadership experience in a similar collections or financial role.
- Knowledge of debt collections law and regulations.
