As a Food Service Associate, you will be representing McMaster University Hospitality Services and your responsibility will be to assist in the daily tasks set out by the Manager:
- Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Maintaining sanitation and health and safety standards in all work areas.
- Cleaning and organizing work areas, equipment, utensils and stations.
- Food preparation and production
- Maintain accurate time, temperature and cleaning logs.
- Make certain that all product is stored, retrieved and stock is properly rotated (FIFO).
- Help in maintaining inventory, including incoming stock and predetermining level of supplies.
- Always meet or exceed standards, policies and procedures.
- Any other duties set out by the Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Food Service experience.
- Cash experience is an asset.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24-39 per week
**Salary**: $20.00 per hour
