**Bench/Electronics Technician**

Allweigh Scale Systems Inc has an opening for a Full-Time **Bench/Electronics Technician**. This position consists of an array of functions that may include production of harnesses, cabling, sensor wiring, circuit boards, soldering and assembly.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Assemble electronic items and products according to established procedures and processes and ensure workmanship, quality, and established standards are met.
- Soldering.
- Cut, strip, preparation, and manufacture cable assemblies.
- Manufacture wire/connector harnesses.
- Working with circuit boards.
- Testing of sub-assemblies and finished products.
- Use of hydraulic test equipment
- Communicating missing or damaged parts or products.
- Assisting with other electronic production operations
- Maintain cleanliness of workspace by sweeping cleaning and emptying trash as necessary.

**Physical Demands**
- Handling of normal stock will include lifting or carrying parts in excess of 60lbs. up to 15% of the time. Majority of lifting and carrying will involve parts between 5 and 60lbs.
- Frequently required to stand and sit. Mainly bench work.

**Equipment**
- TBD.
- Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be worn when required and necessary.

**Qualifications**
- Soldering skills
- Electronic background an asset
- Ability to read and understand drawings and schematics
- Functionally literate and capable of recognizing parts numbers
- Computer Skills an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and reliable
- Clean, Detailed and Organized

**Salary**: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
