**Job title** _Customer Service Representative_

**Reports to** _Customer Service Manager_

**Job purpose**
- Provide exemplary customer service to our clients and co-workers.
- Answer all incoming phone calls, distribute or respond as required.
- Order entry.
- Encompass best practice when faced with situations that require individual decision to ensure all rush orders, issues, or complaints are addressed in a timely fashion.
- Adhere to all corporate safety policies.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Become part of the team by communicating positively with plant location managers, co-workers and all sales representatives.
- Answer all incoming phone calls, distribute or respond as required.

Order entry includes the following:

- Review of technical specifications to verify accuracy
- If the order is not accurate, the CSR is responsible for resolving the technical specifications. This may require further clarification by the client and/or assistance of an internal manager.
- Review the Surpass AS400 ERP system to select the appropriate production dates based on the lead times indicated by the CSR Manager.
- Key the order in the ERP system and document image all associated drawings as required.
- Assist with checking that documents are scanned properly into the doc link database.
- Advise clients of any shipping delays in a timely fashion each morning. This report is provided by the Customer Service Manager daily.
- Ensure all customer concerns have been clearly communicated with the sales representative and/or manger.
- Writing up credits and replacements as they come in for approval by the customer service manager.

**Qualifications**
- Positive attitude with customer service orientation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Responsive to change in priorities and immediate demands
- Detail orientated
- Prefer experience in data entry and customer service roles
- Proficient in a Microsoft office environment

**Working conditions & Physical requirements**
- Be able to maintain composure while exposed to challenging customer service situations.
- Exposed to continuous repetitive keying for duration of shift.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
