**Position: Full-time Grocery Clerk**

**Store: Dean & Wendy’s nofrills**

**Location: 1020 10th Street West, Owen Sound**

**Availability Requirements**: Unrestricted (Days, evenings and nights including weekends and holiday where required)

**Responsibilities**:

- Excellent customer service
- Open and close store
- Train and motivate staff
- Delegate and prioritize workload for staff
- Excellent time management skills
- Merchandising and executing company programs and initiatives
- Inventory control
- Ensure proper product rotation as required
- Receiving, handling and storing of product
- Ensure pricing integrity
- Understanding Food Safety and Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
- Demonstrated understanding of critical success factors for the no frills concept as a discount food store focusing on low price image

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- 1-2 years’ grocery experience required
- Must be able to lift using work safe guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Ability to lift and stand for long periods
- Open availability with the ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Demonstrated accountability for entire store in the absence of a manager:

- key carrying / alarm responsibilities
- loss prevention
- health and safety
- food safety trained
- first aid trained and power equipment trained
- Ability to manage and lead a team
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with mínimal functional direction
- Able to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Knowledge of store systems is an asset (SAP, BOSS, POG)
- As an SAP Clerk you are the key point of contact for all SAP issues
- Ensuring PI accuracy across all departments and coaching fellow staff on PI management where applicable.
- Full shelves and correct inventory levels in the store.
- Cycle counts are completed and PI corrections are accurate
- All tasks related to PI prep and PACE are appropriately executed
