**MATT AND STEVE’S** are seeking to hire a FULL-TIME **Assistant** **Maintenance/Handyperson**

**The Opportunity**

We are currently staffing for an **Assistant** **Maintenance/Handyperson** for our **MATT & STEVE'S TEAM**

**Duties**:
** Assist the Maintenance Technician in the following duties outlined and fill in during any absences.**
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists on all production equipment as specified
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly general maintenance of physical plant (floors, walls, doors, lighting, fixtures etc.)
- Perform Preventative Maintenance of all production equipment as outlined
- Execute minor. repairs on equipment breakdowns to avoid unnecessary downtime.
- Perform assembly line set ups and adjustments when necessary
- Maintain and update all maintenance logs as required
- Maintain tools and tool storage area and mange and maintain spare parts inventory.
- Perform other projects/tasks as assigned by senior management.
- Work on the production line during non-maintenance time

**Shift hours**: 6am-3pm Monday to Friday.( may include occasional weekends) **Starting Pay**: $15.75 to $17 based on experience

SHIFT TIMES MAY VARY SLIGHTLY DEPENDING ON THE COMPANY NEEDS AT THE TIME

**Required Qualities/skills**:

- Mechanically minded and abled
- Experience working with and maintaining conveyance systems (including motors, gears and VFD’s)
- Basic electrical knowledge and skills
- Team player
- Organized
- Reliable
- Awareness of GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Practicing and adhering to Food Safety, GMP’s and Health and Safety guidelines
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Minimum high school diploma and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work some weekends if necessary

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.75-$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
