**Your Opportunity**

**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Provide leadership to technical staff within the Ottawa, ON Geomatics team and be responsible for the promotion of a health and safety focused mindset, resource management processes, recruitment, career development, coaching and mentoring, and leadership development.
- Lead and manage land surveying projects with support from junior professionals and peers on the team.
- Develop and maintain industry relationships and visibility with current and prospective clients, sub-consultants, competitor /teaming partners, and potential recruits.
- Lead and coordinate business development efforts and proposals.
- Assist in the development of the annual business plan and budget for the group.

**Qualifications**

**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
- Understanding of the land surveying industry in Ontario. In particular a thorough understanding of the key business and project drivers for developing opportunities with private industry and all levels of government.
- Strong leadership and business development skills, including significant experience building and maintaining productive relationships with a client base within a client account management framework. Such experience within a consulting organization is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills with experience delivering high quality presentations.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Solid understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements
- Meeting and exceeding all AOLS Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- The ability and willingness to travel within Ontario for planned meetings conferences.

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Geomatics, Surveying or related field & Licensed by the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors (AOLS). Minimum of 5 years of licensed experience.
- Licensed Ontario Land Surveyor, in good standing with the AOLS.
