**About Us**:
Health Med Village is a trusted staffing partner, dedicated to supplying daycare centres with reliable, qualified, and caring professionals. We specialize in temporary staffing solutions, ensuring centres always have the support they need.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Cook to prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children in a daycare environment. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety and quality while working in a fast-paced, family-friendly setting.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and cook balanced meals and snacks according to daycare nutritional guidelines.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area.
- Collaborate with daycare staff to accommodate dietary restrictions and special requests.
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards, including those set by regulatory agencies.
**Qualifications**:
- Must hold a valid Food Handler’s Certificate.
- Must have a valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
- Previous experience in a childcare or daycare setting is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on short notice and adapt to varying schedules.
