Paving Equipment Operators

Red Deer, Canada Richardson Blacktop Full time

Qualifications:

- Responsible for overall quantity placement as well as quantity required to achieve correct grade in finished surface.
- Ability to use automatic grade controls
- Ability to manually set angle and depth of screed
- Operate controls to regulate flow of materials at specified rate
- Communicate with paver operator on flow of paver
- Observe distribution of materials over surfaces to ensure uniform distribution to road
- Ability to maintain pace and continuity of paving job
- physically fit
- other duties as required, shovelling,raking,tamping
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on gear
- Class 5 license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $28.00-$42.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Paving Equipment Operators: 1 year (preferred)
