**What will help you succeed**:
- Previous experience in the landscape industry or trade
- Red Seal Certification in Horticulture is an asset
- Knowledge and experience in **landscape maintenance**:
- Plant identification knowledge
- Highschool Diploma
- Post secondary education an asset
- BC Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.

**What You Will Do as a Landscaper**
- As our Landscaper you would help our customers beautify and enhance the value of their properties. Teamwork, attention to detail and a desire to provide the highest level of service to our clients is key.
**Some of your day-to-day tasks will include.**
- Be an exemplary representative of the company..
- As with all members of Hawthorn Landscape, you will strive to improve yourself, and the team.
- Garden bed maintenance includes weeding, cultivating, raking, edging, deadheading, pruning.
- Installation of trees, shrubs, perennials, bulbs
- Shrub and hedge trimming.
- Lawn mowing, string trimming, edging.
- Plant habitat restoration in forested and riparian areas.

- A genuine, trustworthy person that will contribute to our work environment in a positive way. Ask yourself: _“Have I had quite a few issues working with others in the past? Would I say it was the other party's fault each time?”_ If yes, please do not apply.
- Flexible and reliable. Must be comfortable adapting to changing schedules and committed to seeing the job through.
- An early morning person - you normally wake up before 6 am - not just for work
A valid BC driver’s license with a clean record is an asset.
Competitive Wages based on experience $23 to $25 per hour *End of Season Bonus $ - Ongoing training & development.*Tuition re-imbursement* Extended health benefits
