**Overview**

**Duties**
- Safely operate tractor-trailers according to company policies and federal regulations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during transit
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance reports
- Assist with warehouse operations when required, including moving freight or equipment within the facility

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type being operated (e.g., Class A or B) and LCV Certification
- Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving, freight delivery, shuttle driving, or heavy equipment operation
- Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues
- Experience operating manual transmissions and various specialized vehicles such as limousines, school buses, tow trucks, or heavy haul trucks is a plus
- Ability to load & unload cargo safely using pallet jacks or forklifts; warehouse experience is advantageous
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with dispatchers and clients
- Physical ability to move freight or equipment as needed; familiarity with moving heavy loads is preferred
- Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents; adherence to safety standards at all times

Pay: $2,000.00-$3,000.00 per week
