**Job Summary**:
**Location**:British Columbia or Alberta (position is home based)**. Business travel to partner communities as required that may include some weekends.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Indigenous and Community Relations, the Community and Indigenous Relations Coordinator is responsible for managing and building internal and external community relationships with our existing and future Joint Venture partners. This position shall lead, contact, arrange, attend conduct community events, manage capacity building and community events with our indigenous partnership communities across Canada.

- Implement and manage the execution of ESS’ short and long-range indigenous business development strategies.
- Collaborates with other corporate shared services teams to develop employment, skills development and capacity building programs.
- Under the direction the Senior Manager, Indigenous and Community Relations, lead Indigenous awareness campaigns, internally and externally.
- Maintain relationships with ESS Indigenous partner communities.
- Manage and participates in planned and ad hoc community and professional events in order to promote ESS / Compass Group Canada.
- Develops and maintain relevant community demographic and employment information.
- Other duties as assigned.

- **2 years of experience working in a previous administrative/coordinator support role**:

- Post-Secondary education in Business or another related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and written abilities, with highly refined presentation skills.
