Health and Safety Manager - Manufacturing Industry

We are seeking a well seasoned manufacturing Health and Safety Manger to oversee our plant. You will come with a min of 5 years manufacturing experience. **CRSP is a bonus and salary is open for negotiations**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention.
- Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, including incident rates, near misses, and corrective actions taken.
- Provide safety training and education programs for employees to promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Collaborate with management and employees to develop and implement safety improvement initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and changes in safety regulations.

**Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing safety programs in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Experience conducting root cause analysis and writing detailed reports.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to influence others towards a culture of safety.

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

- Certified Safety Professional (preferred)
