**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist carpenters in measuring, cutting, and shaping wood and other materials according to specifications.
- Help with the installation of structures and fixtures, including cabinets, siding, roofs, and other components.
- Support in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Aid in the fabrication of wooden structures and components as directed by lead carpenters.
- Participate in the setup of tools and equipment necessary for construction tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency on-site.
- Assist with basic electrical tasks as needed under the supervision of qualified personnel.
- Help with construction estimating by taking measurements and providing material counts.

**Skills**
- Basic knowledge of construction techniques and materials.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively.
- Experience or willingness to learn about siding installation, cabinet installation, roofing, and plumb work.
- Understanding of CNC machinery operations is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills related to carpentry and construction.

Pay: $18.56-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:
