**QA Associate - Second Shift Job Description**
**Position Summary**:
The **QA Associate** will support the Quality Assurance (QA) team in ensuring the company’s production processes meet regulatory requirements and quality standards. This role focuses on quality assurance activities, maintaining compliance documentation, and assisting with process monitoring to uphold Health Canada regulations. Working closely with the QA Manager and cross-functional teams focused on supporting the second shift, the QA Associate will play a key role in maintaining operational compliance and fostering a culture of quality. **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Monitor and support production, packaging, labeling, and storage activities to ensure compliance with Health Canada regulations and company SOPs.
- **Documentation and Record-Keeping**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for QA activities, including batch records, testing results, corrective actions, and audit findings. Ensure records are complete and readily accessible for inspections.
- **SOP Compliance**: Ensure all processes adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Assist in updating and maintaining SOPs to reflect changes in regulations or operational practices.
- **Batch Record Review**: Review batch records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Address any discrepancies and work with relevant teams to resolve documentation issues.
- **Product Quality Monitoring**: Arrange sampling, testing, and release of products, ensuring all results meet required safety and quality specifications.
- **Internal Audits and Inspections**: Assist in planning and conducting internal audits to verify compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards. Document findings and follow up on corrective actions to ensure completion.
- **Training Support**: Undertake compliance training for production staff, ensuring they understand and adhere to QA standards and regulatory requirements.
- **Complaint and Recall Management Support**: Assist in the investigation of product complaints, documenting findings, and supporting the development of corrective actions. Contribute to maintaining the recall plan and ensuring it aligns with Health Canada guidelines.
- **Continuous Improvement Efforts**: Collaborate with the QA team to identify and implement improvements in quality processes and systems.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
