**Plumber**

**What will you do as the Plumber**
- Conducting routine inspections and maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure their proper functioning. This includes identifying and repairing leaks, clogs, and other issues in a timely manner to prevent downtime and minimize disruptions to operations.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting plumbing problems and performing necessary repairs or replacements of damaged components. This may involve repairing or replacing valves, faucets, pipes, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Performs general preventive maintenance of buildings, industrial systems and equipment including pumps and various plumbing fixtures.
- Conducting pressure tests and leak tests to ensure the integrity and safety of plumbing systems. This includes verifying that systems meet regulatory standards and building codes.
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including installation, maintenance, and repair activities. This may involve documenting inspections, repairs, parts used, and other relevant information.
- Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety guidelines when working with hazardous materials or in confined spaces.
- Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
- Diagnosing mechanical and plumbing issues and correcting them.
- Repairing machines and equipment as necessary.
- Duties as otherwise assigned

**Do you have the Spark? Here's what we're looking for**
- Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or vocational training in plumbing.
- Relevant experience working as a plumber in an industrial setting preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of industrial plumbing systems, materials, and tools.
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Required to work in industrial and outdoor environments. Services will be performed within Health and Safety standards and regulations.
- Physical requirements will range from frequent to occasional lifting, carrying, bending and reaching. The ability to work in various environmental conditions, including tight spaces and heights.
- Shift work may be required.
- Must be able to lift 34kg (75lb)
