Functional and Regressions Tester

Vancouver, Canada Ignite Technical Resources. Full time

On behalf of our large public-sector client based in Vancouver, Ignite Technical Resources is seeking two experienced Functional and Regression testers required to support client’ Customer Front End Replacement Project. The initial contract arrangement is for 12 months with strong potential to extend.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- A minimum eight (8) years of functional and regression testing work experience or equivalent.
- Plan and execute testing activities including the review of all aspects of software changes to ensure successful execution of functional and regression testing objectives.
- Design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test cases for functional and regression testing by consistently reviewing requirements and specifications, validating accuracy and integrity of test results, and reporting on test progress to contribute to standardization of the testing process.
- Identify, analyze, and document testing defects by consulting with developers and business analysts to support the Technology group’s defect management activities.

**Nice-to-Have**:

- Experience with SAP IS-U or CRMB or CX Service Cloud will be an asset
- Experience with Agile SCRUM or any form of iterative development similar to Agile SCRUM will be an asset
- Experience with JIRA will be an asset
- Utilities industry experience
