**Job Summary Statement**:
We are looking for a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team in the position of Service and Repair Technician as soon as possible. Shipway Stairs Ltd. is a large manufacturer of stairs and railings for the homebuilding industry in the GTA and surrounding areas.

**Essential Functions & Responsibilities**:

- Complete Service Work Order according to the direction provided.
- Making necessary repairs on site as per scheduled work orders.
- Troubleshooting and solving issues efficiently.
- Communicate with customers and homeowners.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Job Specifications—Skills and Competencies**:

- Must be able to communicate effectively (both written and oral) at all levels of the organization.
- Must be organized and have excellent time management.
- Must be a self-starter and work independently as well as in a group setting.
- Exposure to carpentry skills prefered.
- Flexible and the willingness and ability to travel daily to assigned sites.
- Must be detail oriented.

**Education and Training**
- Working at Heights (can be provided if not already obtained).
- Valid G Class Drivers’ License & Clean Drivers Abstract.
- 1-2 years’ experience with woodworking installation and service or a related field prefered.

**Salary**: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
