Brandon, Canada Brandon School Division Full time

**Location: Waverly Park School**

**Position is scheduled to work 5.00 hours per day (3:30 pm to 8:30 pm).**

**NOTE: This position will be staffed with additional hours to be worked during the school breaks each year.**

**Purpose of Position**

The Custodial Assistant (10-Month) provides cleaning services for the property and buildings of Brandon School Division.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Required Qualifications**
- Demonstrated general knowledge and ability to follow instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain clean and sanitary facilities through the use of cleaning skills and job-related tools.
- WHMIS training/certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health regulations.
- Effective basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
- Effective basic interpersonal and communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in commercial cleaning.
- Class 5 Driver's License.
- First Aid, CPR Certification.

**Permanent CUPE employees presently on staff will be given early consideration, in accordance with COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT.**

**Salary as per **CUPE Collective Agreement 2018-2022 (bsd.ca)** - 2022 Rates.
