**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**:
**POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Collaborate with the Manager Production, maintaining clear communication and providing regular updates on project progress, key metrics, and challenges
- Ensure compliance with all CPKC regulations, standards, and safety protocols in the execution of assigned projects, across all team members and direct reports, fostering a culture of safety and accountability
- Conduct thorough investigations into breaches of CPKC policies, safety practices, and procedures, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Contribute to the development and implementation of optimized workflows and process enhancements to deliver ongoing efficiency and performance improvements
- Evaluate planned capital work, validate material readiness, and confirm execution strategies to ensure seamless project delivery and alignment with organizational objectives

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:

- High school diploma or general equivalency
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness and ability to travel 100% of the time, with expenses covered by CPKC
- 100% travel (expenses are covered by CPKC)
- Proven ability to lead and execute project plans and schedules effectively
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire teams to achieve goals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

**PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS**:
**Medical and Drug Testing**

This is a safety sensitive position and a successful pre-employment medical assessment including physical, vision, hearing, and a negative company drug test is required. Post hire qualification drug testing may also be required.

**Management Conductor Program**

Becoming a qualified conductor or locomotive engineer is the single best way for a management employee to learn the business at CPKC. You may be required to obtain a certification or to maintain your current certification/qualification as a conductor or locomotive engineer.
