We are looking for a **Legal Counsel** to join our legal team and support the company’s rapid growth. The position is based at the company’s office in Old Montreal.

This is a **hybrid position** (remote and in-office work).

**Role**:
Under the supervision of the Vice President, General Counsel, the Legal Counsel will be mainly responsible for drafting, reviewing, interpreting, and coordinating activities related to the company's contract lifecycle management.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Support the contract negotiation and administration lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing and interpreting a broad range of contracts (confidentiality agreements, service agreements, etc.)
- Act, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, as the internal coordinator of contracts and subsequently ensure the follow-up of contractual activities as required
- Management of the internal contract lifecycle management (CLM) solution
- Generate reports and other analytics using the CLM solution
- Support the continuous improvement of standard contract templates and procedures
- Support the implementation of various corporate policies.

**Job Requirements**:

- Member of the Quebec Bar or the bar association of another Canadian province
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organisation
- A fast and efficient learner with a keen eye for detail
- Demonstrate the ability to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure
- Flexible and eager to take on new responsibilities as required
- Experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry is an asset
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
